There were several interesting developments in computer security over the past few days. New stuff on Facebook security and Stuxnet.
- Facebook is now allowing apps to access your home address and phone number. Suggested solution: remove them from your profile. I’ve never put anything that private on Facebook, and wouldn’t consider doing so.
- The New York Times has an interesting article on Stuxnet. The gist of the article is that Stuxnet was likely tested on equipment at the Dimona nuclear power plant in Israel.
